FPV MAP Android simulator

Legal

Privacy Policy

This policy explains what the FPV Map Android app and this website do with information. It is written to match how the app actually works: local first, no account, and no sale of personal data.

Effective date: 19 October 2026

1. Who we are

FPV Map is an Android flight simulator developed and operated by Biler IT Solutions, a software developer based in the Philippines. In this policy, “FPV Map”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to Biler IT Solutions and the FPV Map application and website at fvp-map.com.

2. The short version

  • You do not need an account to use FPV Map.
  • Controller input is read on your device. We do not receive or store your stick movements.
  • Flight plans, annotations, captures and exported diagnostics stay on your device unless you choose to share them.
  • Google Maps and Places provide the 3D map and place search. Sentry receives crash reports when something goes wrong.
  • We do not sell personal information and we do not run advertising trackers in the app.

3. Information the app processes

Controller and USB data

When you connect a DJI FPV Remote Controller 3, the app reads the HID input reports that Android exposes over USB-C/OTG. Those reports are decoded on your device to drive the simulator, the live visualizer and calibration. The app is read-only toward the controller and does not send commands to an aircraft. Raw controller reports are not transmitted to us; they are written to an export file only when you explicitly use the diagnostics export feature and choose where to send it.

Location and place search

FPV Map can use your device location to anchor the map to where you are and to search for nearby places. Location is accessed only after you grant the Android permission and use the feature. The coordinates and search text are sent to Google Maps Platform services so that the map and search results can be rendered. We do not operate our own location database and do not receive your location on our servers.

Flight plans and annotations

Flight plans, shots, pins, routes and areas are stored locally in the app’s database on your device. They leave the device only when you export or share a plan, or when your device backup service copies app data according to your own Android settings.

Photos, videos and screen recordings

Captures initiated with the controller shutter or the app are written to your device gallery. Video recording uses Android’s MediaProjection permission and may run in a foreground service while recording. The files remain under your control; we do not upload them.

Crash reports and diagnostics

The app uses Sentry for crash reporting. When the app crashes or encounters an error, Sentry may receive the app version, device model, Android version, stack trace and technical breadcrumbs. This is used to find and fix defects. We do not intentionally include controller report contents, location or captured media in crash reports.

Website logs

This website records standard server logs such as IP address, user agent, requested URL and response status for security, abuse prevention and operations. The website does not currently use advertising trackers or third-party analytics scripts.

4. Third-party services

FPV Map relies on the following providers, which process data under their own policies:

  • Google Maps Platform (Maps 3D, Places) — map rendering, place search and location anchoring. See Google’s Privacy Policy.
  • Google Play services and Google Play — app distribution, billing if applicable, and platform services.
  • Sentry — crash and error reporting. See Sentry’s privacy information.

5. What we do not do

  • We do not sell or rent personal information.
  • We do not require an account or collect a profile of your flights.
  • We do not send commands to a real aircraft or read aircraft telemetry.
  • We do not use your captures, plans or controller data for advertising.

6. Retention

Data stored on your device remains until you delete it or uninstall the app. Crash reports are retained by Sentry according to its retention settings and are used only for debugging. Server logs for this website are kept for a limited operational period and then rotated or deleted. Emails you send to support are kept for as long as needed to handle your request.

7. Security

We use HTTPS for network requests and follow reasonable practices to protect the services we operate. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security. You are responsible for protecting your device, your Google account and any files you export.

8. Children

FPV Map is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us information, contact us and we will address it.

9. Your choices and rights

You can deny or revoke location, storage, notification and screen-recording permissions in Android settings at any time. You can delete local app data by clearing storage or uninstalling the app. Depending on where you live, you may have rights to access, correct, delete or object to processing of your personal information. To make a request, email us at the address below. We may need to verify your request before responding.

10. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the app changes. The effective date at the top of this page will be revised, and material changes will be communicated through the app listing or this website. Continued use after an update means you accept the revised policy.
